Uniquely, The Pi Pilates Mat Certification program will train you how to teach with an organised Flow and Rhythm designed to give a full body workout. Our classically trained and experienced teacher trainers will take you through a progressive and systematic three-part modular series that allows you to complete each level of the program at your own pace. You must complete each of the three modules in order:

Intro to Mat, Progression Mat and Progression Plus Mat.

INTRO TO MAT Course

Time: Three Days (16 hours)

Learn how to safely and correctly introduce the Classical Mat repertoire to clients with no previous Pilates experience, whilst retaining the important flow and rhythm. Discover how to deliver every exercise with our unique formula and develop the ability to teach – a skill in itself. The prerequisite for the course is that you should be able to take yourself through the full Classical Mat repertoire. However, you do not need any teaching previous teaching exposure. The Pi Pilates Intro to Mat course is open to health and fitness professionals as well as individuals who would like to advance their personal Pilates practice. A Pi Pilates Intro to Mat Certificate is issued once you have submitted the required logged hours and successfully passed all assessments.

PROGRESSION MAT Course

Time: Two Days (14 hours)

Continue to develop your expertise and build on your teaching skills. Learn to move your clients through an expansion of the repertoire with the introduction of more complex exercises, whilst simultaneously deepening the muscular recruitment. Focus is on breath and its vital importance to movement and life. You will continue to practice the full Classical Mat repertoire. A Pi Pilates Progression Mat Certificate is issued once you have submitted the required logged hours and successfully passed all assessments.

PROGRESSION PLUS MAT Course

Time: Two Days (14 hours)

The final course of the Pi Pilates Mat Certification Program, the Progression Plus Mat course builds upon the completion of the full Classical Mat repertoire with the addition of the final complex and playful mat exercises and continued deepening of the muscular connections; Power-House Actions as Romana Kryzanowska called them. A continued and intensified development of you as a teacher with focus on voice, touch, and rhythm. A Pi Pilates Progression Plus Mat Certificate is issued once you have submitted the required logged hours and successfully passed all assessments.

Completing all 3 modules will leave you confident and capable to teach group classes safely and comprehensively with years worth of training for you and your clients.

The structure and strategy that is provided throughout every stage of the course provided me with the tools to become the instructor I am today. Since completing my course, I have set up my own studio in Surrey. Pilates has become part of my life and can put you on the path to success. With hard work and passion, you can achieve what I have within a year.
