Self Paced & Milestone Planning

At Pi, our goal is simple: to train strong, capable Classical Pilates teachers.
we want to find the best support for your rhythm, goals, and availability.

Flexibility Through Self-Paced & Milestone Planning

Our training is designed around you.

You move at a pace that fits your life — your responsibilities, your goals, and your rhythm. We understand that everyone who joins us is navigating different backgrounds and commitments.

For some, a self-paced journey offers the spaciousness to grow alongside work, family, holidays, or unexpected life shifts.
For others, a milestone-driven structure provides focus and momentum — especially if you're aiming to complete the programme in 12 months.

If you’re new to teaching and working towards a 12-month outcome, it typically requires a full-time commitment of around 20+ hours per week. This includes self-practice, observation, teaching, study, private sessions, and group classes.

To help with planning, we recommend the following timeline: 🗓️ 12-Month Guideline

  • Intro Assessment around 2 months after your first training weekend (at 100 hours apprenticeship)

  • Progression Assessment about 8 months in (at 300 hours apprenticeship)

  • Advanced Assessment around month 10 (at 400 hours apprenticeship)

  • Final Assessment around 12 months (at 600 hours apprenticeship)

If a fixed end date is not a high priority, and moving tough the training at your own pace is, then you will align with your assessments in your own time.

A Note on Flexibility

Whether you follow a more spacious, self-paced approach 🌿
or take the structured, milestone path 🔥 —
this training is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

What matters most is that you feel supported, resourced, and confident as you grow into a strong, capable teacher.

You don’t have to rush.
You just have to show up — consistently, curiously, and with care.

The time it takes is the time it takes.

🔥 Milestone Assessment Approach

A structured path designed around a 12-month completion.
This option is for those who thrive with rhythm, accountability, and a clear sense of progression — from start to finish.

If you're ready to train with intention and momentum, this approach helps you align your year around key assessment milestones, keeping you focused, supported, and steadily moving forward.

Use our 🗓️ 12-Month Guideline (outlined above) to design your own journey — knowing when to schedule assessments keeps you focused to complete your apprenticeship in a timely way. Also, booking your private sessions, and classes in advance - keeps your training moving forward.

✅ Benefits:

– Clear timeline with pre-scheduled assessment milestones
– Pre-book your 30 private sessions + 30 group classes — no guesswork, no piecemeal planning
– Accountability and guided mentorship built into your journey
– Ideal for students who want to qualify within one year
– Still offers flexibility to pause and adjust if life shifts unexpectedly
– Set your own clear start and end date — with structure that supports success
– And if things change, that’s okay too — we’ll adjust with you

⚖️ Things to Consider:

– Requires consistent weekly commitment (around 15+ hours per week — considered full-time)
– Best suited to those who enjoy a faster pace and strong external structure
– May not suit those looking for longer timelines or more spacious flexibility

🔥 Summary:
If you're ready to dive in with focus, structure, and full support, the Milestone Assessment approach is more for you. With your assessments and sessions mapped across the year, you can confidently complete your training and become a qualified teacher within 12 months.

It’s all about small, intentional steps — with big, transformational results.

✨ Why Choose the Bridge Pathway?

For certified teachers ready to deepen, refine, or realign.

The Bridge Pathway is designed for teachers who are already certified — whether in Contemporary or Classical Pilates — and are looking to reconnect with the roots of the Method through in-person training with the Pi team.

You’ll immerse yourself in the Classical system as we teach it at Pi, integrating our approach without needing to start from scratch. It’s a powerful choice for those seeking mentorship, precision, and the energy of a live studio environment.

You can move through the training in your own way — fully focused or with a degree of flexibility that suits your current teaching schedule.

✅ Benefits:

– Specifically designed for certified teachers — no need to repeat foundational content
– Full access to Pi’s in-person training weekends and Classical teaching framework
– Ideal for teachers transitioning into Classical Pilates
– Flexible pace — typically completed within 6 to 12 months

⚖️ Things to Consider:

– Assumes prior teaching experience — not suitable for complete beginners
– Requires self-direction in study, observation, and practice
– Alignment with Pi’s Classical approach is essential — this is a deepening, not a shortcut

✨ Summary:
If you're already teaching and feel the call to refine your craft, deepen your Classical roots, and train in a hands-on, supportive environment, the Bridge Pathway is your next step.
It honours your experience — while opening new doors to clarity, confidence, and community.
